Earth Hour

Dark and atmospheric banner for Earth Hour. It features a glowing power button icon above the text 'earth hour,' both illuminated against a backdrop of a starry night sky. The curved horizon of the Earth is visible at the bottom, bathed in soft blue light, symbolizing the global effort to conserve energy and protect the planet.

Earth Hour is a global environmental movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), held annually in late March. During this symbolic event, individuals, businesses, and landmarks switch off non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about climate change and the need for sustainable action. First launched in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, Earth Hour has grown into a worldwide initiative, uniting millions in over 190 countries. Beyond turning off lights, it encourages people to reflect on their environmental impact and take steps toward protecting the planet for future generations.
