Sharing

Sharing your Library with Others

EndNote Desktop X9 allows you to share your entire library with other EndNote users.

The version of EndNote you use will determine how many users you can share your library with. For EndNote X9 you can share your library with 100 people.

Multiple users can work in the library at the same time, and will have full editing rights to the library.

There is no additional charge for sharing your library, and there is no limit on the size of the library you are sharing.

Important: When you share your library you are sharing everything - including PDFs, notes, annotations, references, groups, etc.

To Share your library:

1. Click on the "Share Library" menu button, as seen in the screen shot below.

2. In the pop-up window, type the email addresses of the users you would like to share your library with.

3. Add up to 100 users. Click "Invite" when finished.
